Planning Strategy for Urban Building Energy Conservation Supported by Agent-Based Modeling

As a systematic, preventive, and structural adjustment method of improving building energy conservation carbon emission reduction, urban planning has received extensive attention. However, due to the insufficient interface between energy-saving technology systems, not properly played role in conservation. Scientific innovative technical methods are urgently needed explore coordinating multiple effective elements overall through means. Due climate conditions, there is high demand for conserving severe cold regions, but research into this been thoroughly carried out. Harbin, located northeast China, belongs Dwa zone Köppen–Geiger Climate Classification, also typical city regions where daily average temperature lower than 5 °C more 145 days year. This study takes Harbin as an example uses agent-based modeling establish urban-scale consumption simulation model. The model contains four types agents (a global agent, residential household equipment agent) two influence factor modules (an form module module). Three scenarios were designed, including baseline scenario, scenario. scenario provided overview distribution characteristics served reference group results other scenarios. show that when with highly significant impact change by 1 unit, retail block most obvious consumption, up 44.7 × 106 kWh/105 m2/year, while office lowest change, 34.5 103 m2/year. fluctuation electricity obvious, total heating consumption. shows land centers will consistently rise next 50 years, 5.3 105 Based on these results, puts forward future strategies focusing three aspects: control form, optimization climate, system. These expected provide scientific support transforming low-carbon city.
